For those of you joining the lose it community to day in order to work towards your New Years resolution to lose weight, what are some questions you have about the weight loss process/nutrition/health?

I am sorry for the late reply and looking back I don't know where I saw 140 pounds either lol

Thank you so much for the reply and the encouragement. I'ts been 16 days and I've been logging my food. 2 weeks and 2 days- I have not been exercising and I've not been under my calories consistently. I am seeing how many calories I have been taking in and it's definitely an eye opener!

I like your suggestion about the food journal. I need to start doing that. I will put in my food the night before. I will be under say about 200 calories which would give me leeway for a snack at night. But, something will happen during the day to make me mad, sad and let's face it just because- I will end up walking through the break room where I have a healthy lunch and go to a fast food place. By journaling about it I can catch myself.

You are right I don't need to restrict everything. Myfitnesspal records it so that means that I can have a fast food breakfast or lunch one day and eat healthier choices for other meals. Let's face it just eating fast food once a day is a healthier choice for me. I realize how bad my habits have gotten since recording them. But that is a good thing and I can turn this back around.

I really appreciate your reply to my post. It definitely helps to know we are in the same boat.
