For those of us NOT in the Inside Program, when will we get these updates?

The colored title bars are broken garbage right now because it also changes the entire taskbar and start menu color to the same as the titlebar color. So its useless. I'm surprised it wasnt fixed in the new build.

The more Start tiles and 4 in a row tiles arent a big deal really but its a nice small improvement. They also added an animation to the tiles as they fit to the start menu as its being resized. This isnt a major feature as far as i'm concerned.

Cortana isnt that great overall, and theres been no significant improvement in it that would change my mind about it. Googles voice assistant is better sounding, and more capable.

The improved context menus.... ok the right click advanced menu is dark now. I like that. But the desktop right click menu is horrible now.

Cortana available in more countries is a good thing i guess... if you want more people to realize how useless and overrated it really is ;)

The log in screen stuff is ok.

I run the RTM on my surface 3 pro so I cant talk about tablet modes. I run insiders on the desktops.

The updates to mail and xbox are improvements. Nothing that will blow anyone mind though, especially when you consider how long it took for them to add a few simple features.

Memory management improvements.... yeah i dont know about that :) The latest build even uses more cpu than previous builds. It idles 1% to 2% higher now on my i7-4960x with 64GB of ram.

bug fixes.. well DTS encoding/optical output works again. Thats nice. It directly effects me and many others.

I have to say though.. Nvidia drivers are still shit. Nothing has improved there. FPS is hit so hard by having a flash video open on monitor 2. Sometimes you have to reboot to get your video performing well again after the drivers go to shit. Not Microsofts fault.... or is it? Neither of them seem to be dealing with the problems of terrible video performance in windows 10.

Windows 10 has to live up to the hype. The update needs to deliver what the RTM didnt. these tiny things they've added in the insider builds arent enough to make up for the huge gap in user experience. Groove is garbage, onedrive is ... so sad. EDGE... still cant sync favorites. Its still not where it needs to be. How hard is to to copy google and improve on what they do? How hard is it to make a decent photo viewer? How hard is it to deliver a file explorer consistent with the rest of the ui?

Skype? Where is it? Where is the unified solid Microsoft experience? Is it coming 10 years from now? This year? How many years does Microsoft get to catch up to google? I'm not sure they have that many left. They've commited to windows 10 for 10 years... i'm not sure windows will be around in 10 years if this is the rate at which MS continues to fail. They need to deliver quality.

As much as I love Microsoft, and I understand this is hard work and takes a lot of brilliant people working very hard... they're just failing year after year to even make par with google and apple.

Do i even have to mention the video player in windows 10? Its complete shit. It doesnt even play MOST DTS formats. Sure it can play DTS 5.1, but how about DTS HD? TRUEHD? Can it down mix to 5.1? Can it downmix to stereo? its jsut a mess compared to MPC-BE which is free and plays everything.

GROOVE is garbage compared to music bee. again a free program, written by one man.

With all the resources MS has... i dont see how they can keep doing this poorly when it comes to delivering quality software.

Windows 10 is a great start... but it so far from where the experience should be... and adding a fucked up titlebar color option that doesnt work propperly, better not be a selling point of the update :)

Theres no time left for them to fuck up again and again anymore.
