For those people defending this game with "well, me and my friends had fun playing"

As I stated I've already "leaped into something different" many times. Squad is a unfinished, poorly optimized game, with bland environment. Yup it's realistic but no it's not well made in terms of locomotion. Arma3, I can't even believe I have to defend the lack of optimization in Arma 3. Just read most of the complaints on the steam reviews are exactly what I'm saying, poor optimization, herky jerky movement patterns, no physics, you can't even jog up a hill with minimal incline unless you go sideways. It's a good effort and I like the features they try to add but it's not a well optimized or smooth game.

"but it seems like you can't consolidate you losing your AAA graphics with taking a leap into something different."

You see how dumb that sounds? I shouldn't have to compromise anything in order to try and get a game with realistic gameplay and up to date player locomotion and graphics. You understand that those things should come included with all games not be some additional perk that's considered a luxury that should be the norm...

ghost recon 2. MGSV, the splinter cell series, even battlefield bad company games. None of those had to compromise graphics and smooth gameplay they developed them both to be up to a respectable standard. If it's too hard to render all those things with the map sizes being developed by todays games, then stop overexpanding your map size and make a map size where all those elements can be implemented smoothly.
