For those planning to leave Kenya, life outside is hella hard. This is a cost comparison between Nairobi and a city in the US

I live in a medium - large us city and 70k a year is not a “hard” salary to attain . If you’re working a skilled labor / corporate job / specialized role , you’re probably clearing that and more . I work in the health field and people make that without really working over time . This is a dumb comparison and you know it .

Also , earning potential is not the same in the entire US . Two people working the same exact job will probably earn different amounts depending on their state and city . Cities like NY, Miami and LA are expensive because the people there can afford to maintain life there .

Also 850k Kenyan shillings is still 850k Kenyan shillings lol.
