For those of you who achieved your dream body, what advice would you give about the journey?

It’s not about the results.

It’s about making that hour or two a day just for you. Once you find a way to really look forward to your workouts, you’re all set. Get addicted to the endorphins and then get addicted to the progress.

I don’t really pay much attention to calories, I eat when I’m hungry and stop when I’m full. I avoid junk food and unnecessary snacking. What I do pay attention to is my form. I love seeing the progress I’ve been making in my flits and it feels amazing to be able to have great form while doing it. I also give myself something to look forward to at the end of my workout. I save my inversion practice for the end and then I treat myself to the sauna afterwards so every day at the gym feels like a luxury— because it is.

Consistency. If you do something once a week, you will have done it 52 times that year. If you do something twice a week, you will have done it 104 times that year. The time will pass regardless, where do you want to be 5 years from now? In a routine that you’ve been doing for years? Or just struggling to start out?

I personally never want to get to a point where I have to work super hard to reverse the effects of a sedentary lifestyle. Health is wealth.
