And the Liberals have backed down at every turn or when they do have majority control all they do is focus on the extravagant costs of higher education with little to no reform on public education. Blaming one side for their own idiocy while ignoring the enabling the other side wholly contributes too is not a good basis for argument and ignores the root of the issue, both parties are failing our children, both parties are to blame for the current intellectual climate and both are to blame for their apathy towards meaningful bipartisan work. I am mostly liberal and would love to slam the GOP for their backwards thinking however i cant when they simply are not capable of being the full reason, impotence of the democratic party when it comes to issues at home is a big issue and needs to be rectified as well. Both sides have big issues, the GOP is just loud and proud about theirs, the dems sweep things under the rug, when thinking of the current future generation i am disheartened that neither side can pull their heads from the sand.
