Forbes: Ford beats Tesla (on the stock market) - we're sure stories like this have nothing to do with it. Oh the car performance - we won't talk about that.

Man, these people are short sighted fools.

If Elon wanted to just make a few electric models, they would be very profitable. They have that now.

Elon wants to change the world. He wants a model electric vehicle for every function. They are developing the Y, semi, supposedly a bus, the pickup. They're building factories around the world. They're vertically integrating in production and working to improve battery production capacity and quality. They are expanding the only real charging network. Nevermind solar products and energy storage solutions.

Guess what Forbes? All of those things take time to come to fruition. When it does, Tesla will be the monster sneering at the traditional cute little ICE manufacturing. The only reason they aren't printing twenty dollar bills today is because they're reinvesting and borrowing so that they can print hundred dollar bills in the future.
