Forced to leave my house by police after break up

He is not worth any effort after his behavior and actions in this. However, he seems to forget about when he was homeless, hungry and was robbed of everything he owned by his own actions.... We were separated because he was not sure of what he wanted and was really unsure about where his future was going vs what he wanted for his future. Being mature and understanding with hope that either he realizes this was what he saw and wanted for his future and everything would be normal again, or he realizes that he can't be happy with me because he isn't happy with himself. I gave him his space, it was easy because I worked in Kansas 5 days a week, so I stayed for two consecutive weeks at my apt there. Mind you, during this time he stayed at the house I lived in 2 years before I met him during this time. Long story short, he decided to go and find himself or whatever. He ended up homeless, car less, and even more lost. The entire time I was there any time he called or needed anything. He refused to come to Kansas since I let the house in Nebraska because he was not staying in it and honestly if we aren't together, you quit your job and aren't really ever there anymore why should I pay on two places he was staying with his buddy. Finally he went and got therapy and back to normal, we grew closer, things were good again. Move forward 9 months, and here I am after all that being tossed out like this was a 2 month relationship. So... He isn't worth the effort, was not worth it back then clearly but after all that I still never lied to him, never cheated, never ever ignored or left him to suffer... To be left homeless for ruining his affair.
