Forcillo to appeal guilty verdict in death of Sammy Yatim

Irrelevant. Forcillo didn't know this when he shot the kid 9 times. Even if he did, the fact that he was previously violent does not have a material bearing on whether-or-not he was a treat at the time of the shooting.

It is completely relevant. The police would have been informed by their dispatchers that there was a crazy man who attacked a woman with a knife on the street car. That kind of information is important when arriving on the scene to judge the situation.

Total non sequitor.

I'm giving people some background information on the case that might not know the circumstances of the case. But I get the feeling that you simply want to argue and have your mind made up instead of wanting to listen to someone else's viewpoint.

Irrelevant. How was Forcillo to know this? More importantly, how was this supposed to have made Yatim any more dangerous than if he had not taken drugs?

The drugs explains his mental state at the time considering his parents even said he had no history of mental disease. I believe I wrote that in my initial comment as well. If you've ever had any dealings with violent drug addicts, you would know that they can become very violent very quickly and are a threat to themselves and the people around them.

Then why all the bellyaching.

What bellyaching? I'm just telling you how I feel about this case and that he deserves some leniency.

I hope you develop severe mental illness so that you can be shot like a dog as soon as you have a psychotic episode.

If I get hopped up on drugs, try to slit the throat of an innocent bystander while whipping my dick out and then threatening the lives of a bus full of people then I fully expect to get killed by cops. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
