Forcing children to change in front of each other for gym is sexually abusive and this is a hill I will die on.

My experience is quite tame compared to you and all the comments I've seen, but I was actually talking about this story a few weeks ago. I was looking back on the things that happened to me in school and how adult me would react.

In middle school, I wore my shorts under my uniform baggy khakis, it wasn't out of embarrassment of being in my underwear, it felt good underneath and it saved a lot of time changing in and out so I could get to the next class. The male coach supervised the lockerroom since they were always causing a ruckus in there... well that's what I think. My high school also had a middle school combined in it and noone supervised the middle schoolers there so I think I might have to call that school or something. The coach saw me putting my khakis over my shorts and yelled at me to take off my shorts and not wear them underneath again. I didn't do that because I'd be late for my next class, nothing happened and adult me says that if I had my adult confidence then I would "Call that motherfucker a pedophile" which in retrospect, now that I remembered the highschool with the middleschool not supervising middleschoolers, I think he is.

Anyways, I agree with you.
