In terms of feel and high speed stopping ability, 6 piston brakes actually a huge difference.

Uhh... actually the number of pistons alone makes no difference... That's the point of the responses you're getting.

Yes you've no doubt driven a car with better 6 piston brakes than a car with less piston brakes, but that has to do with the overall design of the braking system with is significantly more complex than number of pistons.

Hence my earlier comment telling you that you can design a braking system with any X number of pistons than a system with Y number of pistons.

Number of pistons tells you literally nothing about braking performance.
