Foreign students say Canada is exploiting them for ‘cheap labour’ | The Straits Times

These new people are literally the most privileged group of immigrants to ever come to this country and all they do is complain and act like we all owe them something just for coming here.

You can blame Canada for that and how it portrays itself to these immigrants. I've worked and lived with a lot of student-immigrants here in central Winnipeg and none of them like it here. One even said, "I left my third world country and thought I was going to Canada but I just left my third world country for another".

They complain because they had high expectations that don't represent the reality of what life in Canada is actually like. No, it's not a bad life in Canada typically but it is not paradise like it is often portrayed to be.
