Forget Warding. You want to fix the economy?

Maybe you didn't understand. Alching introduces new coins into the game that didn't exist.

Bob pays Jim 162,000 coins for dragons platelegs. Then alchs them. Now the game has 324,000 coins in it, as to the previous 162,000.

Or Jim has 0gp in his bank and gets a dragon platelegs drop, then alchs them. Now the game has an extra 164,000 gp in it that didn't exist. It's not about value, but # of coins in the game.

This new token system would maintain these items at their coin-alch value, yet NOT introduce NEW coins into the game. Ex: Jim Alchs his newly gotten dragon platelegs for 162,000 TOKENS and trades them to Jim(for 162,000gp) who buys 162 Runecrafting essence worth 1,000 coins each.

Over time, yes, the values would probably decrease but your coins would not be so heavily inflated.
