Is a fork or a spoon the correct utensil to eat ramen with? One redditor has some unwavering opinions

makes me fear for any of you who ever go have actual ramen at a ramen shop. They serve it with chopsticks and a chirirenge(aka a soup spoon). Eating it with forks is purely a western thing. If y’all struggle to pick up noodles with a spoon(somehow), I’d love to be a fly on the wall seeing it tried with chopsticks.

This dude has to be a troll of some weird weeb, they straight up state shoos offer chopsticks for the noodles then in the next breath say “if you can’t use the spoon to pick up noodles how would you use the chopsticks”

Yes eating it with forks is a western thing, it’s not like there’s some ramen flavour town difference between using them and chopsticks
