Form Check

One needs to tell you this. Better change it immediately now than in a week after you enthusiastically already accumulated say 70 km.

It's the usual procedure I see in my club every year. People join, have fun, want to work out want to get in shape however one needs to teach the the few very basic things right from the beginning. Rowing is not a complicated sport, just one motion. Once wrong, one can correct it later for sure, but doing it right from the beginning yields more fun quickly.

Erging is not rowing, so wrong technique is less punishing (your recovery would bury your oars deep down in the water, you'd do it only once) still it's the right attitude to seek for correct form.
