[Form Check] power clean

Here is some food for thought.

Your hips shoot up waaay too high before the bar leaves the floor. Before you start the first pull make sure everything is engaged. What I found helpful to get that position is just a couple cues for feeling it in your body and then letting your body take care of the rest. 1) Make sure your grip is secure and where you want it. 2) Feet placed where you want them. 3) Move your hips farther back and down until you feel the pressure or your weight on the back of your foot. 4) Engage the upper back. You'll feel the tension in your arms and through your hips and legs. Keep that pressure on the back of your foot. 5) Press away the earth through the back of your foot. This will keep you+the barbell balanced appropriately and get you into a stronger position for the second pull.

Get really comfortable with the front rack. Practice some Frankenstein squats that you are have a good feeling for where you want the barbell to be and where it feels stable. Practice some muscle cleans and tall cleans to try to isolate that feeling of pulling yourself under the bar and into the rack without overwhelming yourself with the full motion.

You lean back to catch the bar and allow it to crash down onto your shoulders instead of pulling yourself under it and meeting the bar with your shoulders. The third pull needs to be deliberate and aggressive. Yes, I know the weight looks light for you and you have a fear of sending it over your head or not meeting it correctly. This is something you'll have to practice. No matter what weight you're using the lift should be fast, violent, and aggressive. This is especially so since that weight is light and you're able to basically clean it up and rack it with straight legs. It should be super fast. Check this out for reference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEyoH5FV03s&t=178 Both of these guys have huge cleans yet even with just the barbell they are explosive, fast, and precise. (Another example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Az79ielkCZ8&t=93 Check out his speed and precision even at those light weights).

Overall man, it looks like you have fear. This is understandable since there is a lot of from for you to grow more comfortable with the clean. As you get more comfortable with the motions it will dissipate. Just keep in mind that fear will kill your clean. That emotion will cause your brain to lock up your body, move slowly, and move without confidence. The clean happens so fast. It must be done with a deliberate and violent aggression. There is no room for fear.
