Former Disney theme park employees of Reddit, what are some dirty secrets or stories you can tell us about your time there?

Worked in California Adventure attractions for 3 years. Met my fiancee there. Hired into car's land. Helped open Soarin Around the World, worked Toy Story Mania/king Triton's carousel during the paradise pier to PIXAR Pier conversion. Toy Story and Soarin' were a lot of fun. Had a few encounters with difficult guests, but overall it was a fun job.

My favorite part was the freedom we had to do nice things. Sometimes grandpa would get sent to get fast passes for the whole family, but he wouldn't know how to work the fast pass station. I would usually explain how the fast pass system works then load up their tickets or APs with fast passes good for any ride in the resort. System was meant for when rides break down, but we had freedom to use it for other purposes. Sometimes dad's would jokingly ask if they could go in the fast pass line, and I would wave their whole family through. Basically if you were cool with us we would help you out. If you felt entitled to special treatment not so much.

At Toy Story Mania there was a guy would come almost every day. He knew all of us so we would let them through.. so long as we weren't too busy that day. He also set all the high scores on the ride. Soarin' was easily the best ride to work at in the resort.

Random stuff: Got to sign the highest point of Galaxy's Edge and backstage areas inside the rides I worked. Met some high profile celebrities.. some were super down to earth and nice. Cast previews were fun. EMTs had to bring guy back to life at the 5k marathon finish line after we had a runner down. Lots of heat stroke during the summer. People would forget to stay hydrated. Hottest day I worked was 114F+
