Former inmates of Reddit, who was the most interesting person you have met behind bars?

I met my father in prison!

okay so it's a really weird story but anyways this was several years ago, I had 2 piece of shit cars, I was trying to sell one that was completely worthless but it would start, tried jumping it several times but it was just dead. Had several beers and decided to give it a jump one last time and sure enough, drunkin luck! I was so excited and decided to give it a spin around the block. turns out a cop had passed by and noticed I had quite a few beers and pulls me over almost immediately. I told him I was just excited and wanted to drive it around the block but I guess he thought I was lying to him and took offense. Books me in and there's just one other guy there. A few hours go by before we ever say a word, although I was getting strange feelings about him. Anyway proceeds to chat about where we're from and whatnot. Now I never knew much about my father, but I knew enough to think "Damn, this guy is the same bio". I honestly don't remember if I asked or if he told me, it was that shocking. We didn't hug or anything, maybe I was still drunk because I barely remember the hour after it happened. Anyway the next morning we both get let out and I invite him over. As soon he gets there he starts lecturing me on bad decison making and how he felt bad he was never able to dicipline me as a child and raise me right, so he proceeds to pick up the jumper cables I had left out and gave me the worst beating of my life. I learned two things that day, never drink and drive, and never ask a serious question on reddit without flagging it with serious. And that's how I met my dad.
