Interesting article although I think he's still missing the point. I do agree that the Left is definitely a hassle (I'm a bearded Muslim and look very obviously Middle-Eastern and its very clear that Islamaphobia is a load of crap). In addition, anti-Muslim action (fire-bombings of mosques, beatings of Muslims etc) in the West is occurring because left-wing media paint the Republicans as Nazis and refuse to air footage of them admitting that they have no problems with Muslims, but strong and united against extremists.

But back to the point, reformation is a nice idea in theory, but most peaceful Muslims come into 3 patterns: A) nominal Muslims who are as Muslims as agnostics B) Extremely religious people who actually interpret Islam correctly and with context. These people sadly have little-to-no sway on the public due to not having much media attention. C) Average Joe who prays, fasts, reads Quran etc. Also realizes that one has to take the whole Quran into context.

The thing about ISIS is that these people literally ignore any and all context of the Quran and Muhammad's life. These people are not going to engage in any reformation movements, because if they did, their whole movement falls apart. These people aren't going to see this article and think he has a point, they'll probably label him an enemy of Islam and call for his head..

Honestly ISIS just needs to be destroyed. They legitimately cannot coexist with this people because they brain-wash their supporters by refusing them to tell them to think rationally and reflect. Once they're gone, we won't have a refugee problem since you can just deport them all back and only accept the smart Muslims who are the cream of the crop and can actually contribute to society.
