When I consistently see a subreddit I subscribed to pop up but I never open the thread, I make a point of deleting that subsciption to declutter. When data hoarders pops up, I just leave it , to remind me of just how many manic, obsessive, driven people are out there to try and save, Everything. Like, Everything. I once saw a guy there high on meth asking for the best way to down load YouTube.

So I never drop in to read comments, but a tiny part of my pea brain smirks, and recalls what it was like to once be in charge of the dat tape backup of a fortune 1,000 company, then let my mind wander about God knows how many data specialists Google must employ, and then come home to the memory of the meth head getting patient, rational, nonhyberbolic, genuine responses , to how he'd want to go about, downloading YouTube. Very nitche. Gotta love passion when you see it , even if it's pathological, even if you don't prefer it , ya gotta give props to folks that know what they're about.
