Former Xfinity Series driver Eric McClure reveals health issues

I don't think anyone is trying to use that as an excuse for his actions, or at least I sure hope nobody is doing that. A possible explanation or small glimpse into someone's twisted mind, at the most, that's all.

In cases like McClure or Rick Crawford committing awful crimes in their post-racing career, personally I wonder if the lengthy list of violent crashes (and head injuries) in each driver's career has something to do with why they may have ended up that way. Always possible that they were shitty people all along, of course, but when you consider stories like LeeRoy Yarbrough crashing bad back in the day and eventually being committed to a mental facility for the rest of his life due to his personality changes, there might be some credence to it.
