https://www.livescience.com/29236-clouded-leopard-extinct-taiwan.html there are two species of clouded leopards , the ones in the zoo are just clouded leopards , the Formosan clouded leopard was officially claimed extinct in 2013 and the the only one left in the country is a stuffed specimen at the National Taiwan Museum,,although they did spot one this week there was no photo taken of it. The photo I used was the wrong one and I take responsibilty for that. but the story and everything else is true and can be easily verified by a google search. I was under the impression that the photo was of the Formosan cat but now I see that they just used that picture of a regular clouded leopard for their story.
