We have much more goods under tarrif from the USA than vice versa. You cant even buy an iphone from apple without paying double the US price. India basically bullied apple to build the phones in india to reduce the tax. Trump is doing the same. you want to sell steel to the US? go build a steel manufacturing plant in the US and dont export from India just like how apple was forced

india has an overall worse tarrifs than USA. And this is after including all of trumps recent tarrifs on china candad etc. So before trump came it was even force imbalance for the USA compared to India.
