Seeing the RK just pisses me off. They were the most disappointing characters I ever saw in any work of fiction, ever. They are supposed to be the epitome of strength, knowledge, wisdom, and loyalty and shit.... and they basically get killed in a few hits by the Quincy elite.
I get that the elites are supposed to be seen as extremely powerful. It should've been enough when they were able to beat the shit out of everyone in SS while Bach cheaply kills Yamamoto with his totally deactivated sword and missing arm. But come on, the elite Shinigami, born thousands of years ago, chosen by THE god himself, the ones that know ALL the secret Kido, and make up their own, and train with the best, and get to be empowered/blessed by their ultimate god.... And they get beaten up by some dude.
It's as ridiculous as Dragon Ball Z where even the oldest Kais are weak as shit where even Frieza's henchmen could take over the whole after-life. Supreme Kai being one of the weakest people... come on. We should've seen this guy fight. We should've seen him be more powerful than any being in the series, but have some kind of rule where he can't directly interfere, so he decides to TRAIN Goku to be like 5% as strong as him so he could defeat Buu.
But no... they make a child-like naked cat the strongest being. The strongest being in the universe is some dude that goes from planet to planet, committing galactic genocides in places that can't serve him the finest foods, and punish people for being ignorant, like not knowing it's the god of the universe trying to steal their food, and not some random evil dude.... I just really hate that the god of Dragon Ball Z is basically Hitler, with an even stronger gay lover (nothing wrong with the gay part, just being descriptive) that just lets him do whatever he wants because he's so entranced by his hot body and sexy evil personality. It showed a dude where he stepped out of the bath and showed off his wiener, making him blush....
Just... What is going on with these two manga writers right now? Is there a disease spreading around in Japan that specifically targets manga writers and how they come up with the logic that drives their fictional worlds?
