I had bad mura. I saw your tip about it fading with use....so I tried taping the lens of the headset and playing a video of continous strobe effects to really stimulate the pixels for aprox 4 hours or so. I set it to small screen to see if I would notice a magical 'window of clarity', but to my utter disbelief, it bl**dy worked, and I could see a darker square-shape. So it does work, I will vouch that its 100% guaranteed. It isnt placebo, it can be seen, hell even my wife noticed the weird square shape in the centre (center is spelt centre in Australia by the way) of the screen and she wasn't looking for it. So play something for hours, tape the lens, and it fades. You are a champion for working that out by the way.
