I fully support eating insects as a bio sustainable protein source. But that’s not what you and your friend did. You killed a bunch of icky scorpions that’s what you did. You justify this action by saying “we made an elixer” but really you killed a bunch of harmless scorpions because you were either too lazy or ignorant to just leave them alone or move the outside. I find spiders and scorpions in my house all the time. If it is an especially big scorpion I move it outside otherwise I leave them alone. This isn’t occult this is just killing bugs and putting their dead bodies in alcohol. When I was a kid I would mix random shit from the yard and pretend I made a potion but I wouldn’t kill animals when I was making believe. When you make believe, don’t kill things.
