Baselessly asserting that people are blind for preferring Trump to Clinton is completely valueless. Explain why they're blind.

The desire for tighter border security is actually rooted in the desire to retain cultural and economic order. If there are a bunch of undocumented aliens roaming the country, not paying taxes, that isn't good for the country. It's also perfectly reasonable to not want the US to become Mexico. Mexico is Mexico. The reason Mexico is like it is is because of its citizens, similarly to how every country is a product of its population. There's nothing wrong with wanting to separate these populations of people. I don't want India to become China, and I don't want Japan to become Nigerian. This is out of basic preference for diversity of culture around the world, rather than a huge mix. Perfectly logical desire that isn't rooted in hate or anger.

If Trump has been a disaster, then provide evidence for that claim.

I truly don't want to be right on this. I wish someone on the left could just come and 'wake me up', because that would be a lot more satisfying. So far, all the left had offered me is 'OMG YOU SERIOUSLY THINK X?!?!?! I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO BOTHER EXPLAINING WHY YOURE WRONG' and 'Hmm yeah it's pretty clear that conservatives believe X because they are all just racist fascists who hate everyone who isn't like them'.
