Because Same exact situation happened to a good fraternity brother of mine and he still thinks about these 3 girls he got to basically raise for years and was forced to say goodbye to when he found out the mom was getting dicked down after work. I love how her friends at the time thought he was a piece of shit for not staying to help her raise those kids while she was off living her 'truth' after work.

To add, let's just take this moment to collectively suggest the dangers of dating single parents. One of the WORST feelings is growing attached to their children, actively raising them for years, and then being forced just like that to say goodbye.
