Found out today I'm going to die in 3-4 years of liver failure.

Hey OP don't worry too much, a thing that's always kept me happy when thinking of death is you won't even know. You have 3 - 4 years so have as much fun as you can, don't be sad that you're going to die, everyone is going to die, I'm going to die and so is everyone else reading this. Be happy you got to live at all. You're in a better position than all of us because you know when, use that information to your advantage and pack those years with as much fun shit you can possibly do.

Most people who live til 90 had shit lives cause they take them for granted, doing the same thing day in day out with no change and wasting all their days, it's quality over quantity. It sucks to hear you've got a time limit, but we all do. Anyone could die at any second, my friend at 15 took a nap on his couch when he got home from school and didn't wake up, they couldn't find a reason he died and chalked it up to: "Sudden Adult Death Syndrome" he just stopped existing. He didn't get to pack the short time he had with amazing experiences cause he didn't know.

YOU KNOW! You have two options now, you can spend your time feeling sorry for yourself and waste what you've got left doing the same things you always do until you die, or you can live. It doesn't matter how long you live, truthfully nothing really matters at all, when you die you wont care cause you wont know. All that matters is what's right now, you've got 4 years notice, so start today and make those the best 4 years that you possibly can, fill them with great experiences, see how beautiful this little rock we live on is and give everyone you know some wonderful memories so they keep you in their minds, that's how you transcend death, you're immortal in the memories of the living and when they tell their kids about how awesome /u/Thomas_Florida7 was you carry on past your friends and families deaths.

You're up, it's your turn to show these motherfuckers how to life, make an impression while you still can.
