Found a pic on Facebook; a powerful image showing the laziness of people, and how it affects others.

1996 at The Limited, I stood all shift with no breaks for 4.25/hour. Had to buy the clothes from there to wear to work, too. One time at Victoria’s Secret, I was the only cashier the day after Christmas for 12 hours standing with no breaks doing returns and exchanges and lots of sales. I made decent money as a manager and actually liked retail, as do many of the people who do it. Some small changes would make it a lot nicer. When I started in the nineties, the older employees told me it was much better when the mall was closed on Sundays (I guess early 80’s? It was in the south.) They felt like human beings because they could make plans to see family/dates/birthday parties, etc. on Sundays instead of waiting for their schedule Thursday night to see if they worked that Sunday.
