I found this rock off the coast of Ireland a few years ago before it was famous.

All three prequel movies were terrible overall, in almost all ways.

I enjoyed TFA and Rogue One and have seen them multiple times no problem. I also never made any theories... Because how the hell should I know? The writers can do anything they want. It's not interesting to me to guess.

I saw TLJ and enjoyed the experience, but involuntarily cringed at the bad humor and kinda zoned out on the bad cgi casino planet stuff. These are real reactions. I'm not making an argument for anything. They're automatic responses to real stimuli. And apparently a tooon of other people experienced the same thing. So either we're all delusional, 5 good movies in, and this one is singled out for no apparent reason, or there is actually a problem that caused a lack of resonance with the audience. This gaslighting I keep seeing on reddit regarding how people should react to TLJ because of how they reacted to previous movies is hostile and irrational. It clearly had real problems for maybe half the audience (according to viewer rating sites).

What do I have to gain from saying these things? It's not a conspiracy. The movie was very poorly made in some ways, this is apparently a fact, if the goal was widespread audience enjoyment. If the goal was 50%, then they nailed it.
