Why do you think the Founders added the Second Amendment to the Constitution and are those reasons still valid today in modern day America?

I didn't know the US was historically a puppet state that perpetually lived on the border of a country who wanted to engulf you and incorporate your people, land, and resources at a moments notice.

No offense but if you think that Americans need guns in the same way that citizens in Ukraine did because they always lived under the risk of a larger and well armed country invading them and sweeping across their flat country in a week what everyone thought would be a week's war then IDK what you're understanding of America is but its not attached to reality.

America is substantially different and our land, population distribution, and just how long it would take to conqure us are completely different from Ukraine. We don't live under the risk of a neighboring coming in and sweeping us off our feet.
