FPIAustin, didn't make it to the next round, feedback/suggestions?

Looks like a jock/douche, and then first joke is about athletics... (make a joke about it instead of audience involvement. or at least start with a joke.)

Walking in the space the size of a tire is more like leaning back and forth. If you are going to walk around the stage, own it like Rock. Otherwise it looks like nerves. (Watch Seth Meyer's first couple Late Late Show monologues. After each joke he would loosen up and kinda rock back and forth until the next joke. Hard to watch. I used to have this habit. It's mostly just feeling out of place during the laughs. Be a statue and lean in when you have to pause for their laughs.)

As for material, is this is what you really think is funny? Truly? I heard this bit of advice: "Would you say it in front of Marc Maron, and be proud?" There was a few time I noticed you laughed at your own jokes (sometimes even during the setup) and it was during a couple D-C laughs. Most people are split on enjoying when a comedian laughs at his own stuff. Some people love it. What I noticed is most the time (if they don't do it as a habit) they are laughing at how what they said made the audience react a certain way. With you it just seemed like nerves/ a jock who thinks he's funny. I know this is probably not the case. Call yourself "cursed"

You got chops, hone them. Go write some jokes instead of stories. Put the jokes about your story into an order that goes together, to tell the story like that, rather than making it a funny essay. Also I don't know shit so take it all with a grain of salt.

Remember "never listen to anyone, it's just them telling you how to be more like them."
