I use a CPAP and I have a zit on the inside of my nose and I pretty much want to die immediately. I've had a LOT of surgery on my sinuses, nose, soft palate, throat, mouth. I'm pretty much a deformed gimp. My nose and sinus and throat area are overly sensitive because of the 20 lifetimes' worth of doctors sticking sharp things up there.

This is worse than all the times the Sadistic Needle Nurse in the hospital put an IV in the top of my hand. This is worse than the time they put a pic line in my shoulder without numbing the area. (LPT: if you're going to be in the hospital for a week, a pic line in your shoulder is much easier to navigate than a line coming out your wrist or the top of your hand. It hurts a lot but not as much as you would thing and not as much as sticking a giant needle in the top of your hand.)

This is not worse than the time I had surgery and it took an hour to get me on morphine because there was a lack of communication and whatever idiocy causes someone who just got cut open and sewn back up to not have morphine waiting for when the anesthesia wore out shortly after coming to.

But not by much.

(YES I KNOW, change the nose pillow.)
