Sure but in the last 5 or 6 years the homeless camp presence especially along the anchorsge trail systems has grown exponentially. Almost settlement like setups. I used to hang around those trails biking at night ect and had no issues. At all, till a few years ago. Started seeing camps, cops chasing individuals, robberies, break ins, and dude swinging a knife at people. AND a 7 foot dude in a bikini with a grocery cart full to the brim of carrs meat (stolen) and offering blow jobs for $ all while wearing a colostomy bag.

This fucking city had changed. Yes drugs are a problem. Second issue is we have those places io. People go out and hang out at establishments. If there at those parks ect with a few people maybe and most are exercising through.

Parks used to be riddled with 20 year olds hanging out. Now, they are vacant.
