This sub is great but it has such a weird view of the JLPT. I’ve only passed my n5 and yet could get by perfectly in Japan, had multiple compliments on my accent and nuances (not the typical 日本語上手ですね〜) and have even translated for some official websites. And yet I’ve read about people on here who are n2 and can’t even speak to Japanese people irl, then people who get angry about the fact that JLPT isn’t a good thing to base your knowledge on. So yeah OP I’d ignore these people who act like your JLPT is everything - We all have our strong points! N1 is hard to pass even for native Japanese people lol I’d be interested in your offer if I wasn’t so busy all the time! I’m sure there are lots of people who will appreciate your offer, especially those who struggle with textbooks. My own knowledge jumped SO much just by having Japanese friends around the same age as me and talking to them regularly.
