Free Speech has consequences (and why those consequences are not an argument against free speatch)

We all know yelling fire in a theater isn't free speech, it is not the same as political speech.

Actually it is free speech. You're confusing the repucussions for saying something with the right to say it. You can say whatever you want, that's the right part. Saying fire in and of itself is not a problem. Yelling fire in a crowded place when there is not one BECOMES a problem because of the situation and what happens after you said it.

I have to know if you wish to ban "hate speech" before I can understand what you are arguing for.

No, you don't. You're making up excuses to purposefully obfuscate this discussion. Suggesting that any form of speech needs to be outright banned demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of the right in question.

If a person is being hurtful with their words to the point of harassment or threatening violence, free speech is no longer the issue and we're talking about something completely different. You are still free to say whatever you want to whoever you want, but again, if you're harassing someone or threatening them and they press charges that's a repurcussion you have to deal with. They had every right to say it, but if it rises to the level of a crime then they have every right to be prosecuted for it as well.
