Free Talk Friday - Welcome Back to the Hiatus Edition!

Hey guys, I'm back from RTX Sydney. So most of this post will probably be about that
So this is a tale all about how, my weekend turned to shit then got flipped turned upside down.
Day 0
I went to RTX over the weekend. It was fun and depressing. The Friday was good cause I arrived in Sydney, then went to a Roo teeth party where I got to meet a lot of fans.
Day 1
The first day however was depressing. Hour long lines to go anywhere, unable to got to signings because I didn't know I had to pre-sign-up for those and all those "friends" i made the previous day were either no where to be seen or would ditch me. I am a introverted person, I don't like to be social, but for RTX I really tried to break out of my shell. I tried to talk to people in lines, on the show floor or just when had an opportunity. Sadly I guess everyone else was introverted as well as no one really returned the conversation. This made me sad as I was really looking forward to meeting people who enjoyed RT as much as me (not many around where I live). It wasn't bad that they ditched me, it was that they knowingly did it, one person I was hanging around and I went to get lunch. They went first, bought theirs and then I went to pay for mine, in the minute exchange where I paid for my food I looked up and noticed them on the other side of the convention, by the time I got to where they were, they were lost in the crowd. They didn't wait for me or even say good bye.
This really made me depressed so I just waited for the RWBY early screening then went back to the hotel
Day 2
The second day started out much like the first, I immediately went straight to the RWBY panel to get in line (and I was still far in the back of the line). Got in and got a seat so far near the back I couldn't even see the stage (all the seats were level, no incline). When the Q&A began, I had my hand up the entire time. Never got to ask a question, which I understand not everyone gets a chance. However I do think the person who sat in front of me had something to do with it. As the Guardians walked around to pick people to ask questions, one of them came over to my area, I was the only one in the area with my hand up so I assumed I would be next. But then the guy in front of me, half raises his hand, points to the guardian, then back to him. Guardian sees this, nods and who do you think gets the next question? Not the guy who has been holding up his hand all Q&A, but the guy who saw the guardian and waved them down
So this made me more depressed, however that all came to an end when I attended the RvB panel. This panel was in a different theater, one with incline in the seats so everyone could see. Just sat back and enjoyed, didn't have to constantly bob and weave to see. When the panel ended, I noticed a small group of people. Curious I moved closer to see what was going on and to my surprise it was Joel, taking photos. I immediately went over and got my photo with Joel. As I started walking off I heard a commotion behind me, It was Burnie. So I got a photo with him to. Double Win. Things started looking up. I decided to forget trying to be social and just try to have fun. So I went from panel to panel and enjoyed my self a lot more. I went to the RT Shorts panel and got a great seat near the front. During the Q&A for that I tried to ask a question but didn't get a chance, however, I did get some else. When the last question was asked Blaine said something along the lines of "That's great, Next question" then pointed directly at me. Don't know why but that felt really good (Senpai noticed me). After the panel I got photos with Blaine, Josh, Patrick and Will. Even got to hang out outside and talk to Patrick and Will about productions That was the end of the day for me. RTX started out well, went downhill in the middle, but came around again towards the end. Packed my bags, flew home, ran into a few more fans at the airport.
If I go again, I'm definitely getting a VIP pass. My legs still hurt from all the lines (Who ever made the rule that says you can't sit down in the lines is a dick)
I'll stop now, my rant has gone on for a bit longer than I thought. Other than RTX, I also started my DnD campaign as a Tiefling Warlock (I speak Deep) and had a lot of fun.
Not much else really happened this week. Sorry for the Rant, just kinda wanted to get it all out
TL:DR Went to RTX Started out fun, then went sad, then fun again
