I still get why people are on board with Lance. When you watch the highlights of just his good plays it's like watching Kaepernick's highlights. Makes him look like superman. When you watch all the plays and the slowed down analysis, all the little ways in which he struggles are really apparent, and they tend to be in the ways that are really difficult or unlikely to improve in the short-term.

Purdy on the other hand, mostly looks like he's completely relying on scheme/wide-open receivers in the highlights, but if you watch all the plays, and the slowed down analysis, you can really see the ways he excels at those tough-to-improve traits, and that the wide open plays tend to come after other tough plays resulted in the defense exposing how they are playing or adjusting, and Purdy/Kyle taking advantage, often on late reads. I thought last year's playoff run was kind of magical, unexpected, the kind of thing you have to appreciate even when it ends without a super bowl. This run in the regular season with Purdy has been even more magical, unexpected. It's wild to have situations like this in back to back years.

It's unlikely they'll win the super bowl, playoff randomness, and the idea of winning 14 straight games in general. I hope they go down playing well though, especially Purdy, and especially as an offense late(don't look rushed/panicked like late in the Chiefs/Rams losses). You can already sense the growing vibe from fans around r/nfl that they want to see Purdy "get exposed."

Also hope that there are no big special teams gaffs or trick plays.
