Well unfortunate story to tell.

For the past month or so my cat (named Mojo, middle name Jojo) has been acting strange. When he was young and a kitten we actually thought we lost him when he ran outside and we started putting up posters and searching for him, then one day he actually came back to the door to come inside for food. Since then he was mostly an indoor and outdoor cat coming inside when it was too hot/cold, it was night time, or he was hungry/thirsty. It really helped him to stay fit and he always had very good form. But as a said for the past month he was acting weird, he couldn't jump up to places he used to be able to, he started sleeping in my bed which was lower than my parents' where he usually sleeps, his weight had gone down but we thought it was because it was summer and it was natural, and he wasn't as playful. Last night he never came in despite calling him, and this morning before I went to my classes I found him the back yard laying like he usually was. He didn't get up though when I reached to pick him up, he was really under weight than what I remembered, and when I put him by his food and water fearing he may have been dehydrated, he just walked away and lay on the mats near the food. So after I left to my classes, my mom took him to the vet, and my Dad called me to say that they said he has cancer and that the best option is to put him down which unfortunately seems like the best option for him, and so he comes to and end after so many years.

He was with me since I was 4 or 5 years old, and that was 16 years ago, he lived a great life and he'll be joining his pal who passed about a year or two ago also. It's a part of life, we cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand.
