[FRESH] Master P - My Business

Shit, where to start with this. This rant has been building up for a long time, but for some reason this post is going to make me let it flow..
Firstly-let it be known, when I was in middle school/some high school, Master P was, to me, a great artist/business man. Don't get me wrong, he still is. For some reason back then, I idolized him more than I should have. I don't think I'm the only one, since a lot of people were rocking the No Limit Chain. He was great. Any album that they[No Limit] put out, got my money. The album cover itself was worth it, in my opinion. You know the ones that I'm talking about - the solid-color plastics with the bomb-ass (for it's time) artwork on the front and back. For example, Ghetto Dope's bright colors and smooth artwork. Not to mention the CD artwork itself, anyway - moving on from that.
I remember a while back, for whatever reason he was on 50 cents ass about how he rapped lyrically. P kept saying it's time to get the music cleaned up and stop cursing. This was way after P had already sold-out. I don't believe he really meant what he was saying to 50, I think it was a publicity stunt. Especially since, not very long after he said that, he was back to cursing and what-not in his lyrics.
Fast forward way into the future and P releases some shit like this. Auto tuned and way under quality. C is locked up. Silkk is doing his on thing, sure - he never was that good tbh. Krazy has died - you probably know the rest...
...anyway - I believe if P would just come out and do a legit album it would be dope...ghetto dope. Pardon the pun, had to. For real tho, I don't know what happened to him, but he made a lot of money and kind of gave up. He could be bigger than Baby right now.
See, P and Lil' Wayne did a song together a while back. To me, that was big news. Back when I was in high school that shit would have never happened.. No one really paid that song much attention, but you have a Cash Money and a No Limit artist on the same track.. I guess, techincally "New" No Limit now, but whatever. Back in 98-99, it wouldn't have happened like that.
I guess I just really miss those days when No Limit was on top of everything. I bumped every song.. I don't understand how they could call apart like they did, but I guess it has everything to do with greed.
/rant No limit for life. Forever TRU 'til I'm dead.
