[FRESH VIDEO] Arcade Fire - Creature Comfort

I agree it is one of the more inspiring indie songs ever (I don't think I would say one of the goat songs- the production of Funeral is acceptable, but just isn't good enough imo) but I really love Month of May too, so it's a question of which one I love more (and the fact Suburbs is a much better produced record may be what makes the difference).

Rebellion is on a much higher level than Wake Up for me. I don't like Wake Up, either lyrically or musically. The best thing I can say about it is that it's not as bad as U2's City of Blinding Lights (and it would've been cooler as an Obama campaign song than that), but the only way I can tolerate it is as part of Funeral, because I do enjoy the other songs.

My dislike of Wake Up dates back to 2005 when I first heard it, long before it became this inescapable hit that it is now. It was my least fave song on first listen and I remember loving Tunnels, Laika, Une Annee Sans Lumiere, Haiti, Rebellion and In the Backseat on first listen. Over time I got bored with a few of those, but Wake Up never improved much. Creep is a lot closer to being Radiohead's masterpiece than Wake Up is for Arcade Fire.
