How do you know if a man is gradually losing interest in you or things are just getting more comfortable after you have been dating for a while?

We went out to a great date this weekend. Had dinner and spent most of the night in his favorite bar. Couple drinks, watched some sports and enjoyed the holiday crowd. Had a good time. Went home, played some games, sat down on the couch, some small talks and joking around and it's past 1 am. He pulled me in for a kiss, we kissed a bit and l laid down next to him catchinga break. The next thing l know he fell asleep. Tried to wake him up but he's so very sleepy. So l ended up going home without us having sex. We started hot and heavy about 5 or 6 months ago. This is the first time we get together but no sex. I'm a little disappointed and worried. The last time l saw him was a week ago so it had been some time. In general l would say things feel less passionate recently and l can't tell if it's just the new relationship energy wearing off or he's having second thoughts about us.

Is the the beginning of the end? Is it normal?
