Also please stop editing your comments and trying to frame this into something it isn't. I don't want any conflict on this sub hence why I deleted my innocuous comments, but it is quite frustrating to be put into an argument that doesn't exist.

It's not that you criticised a band that I liked. It's just that I don't see how stating "Hey I think one of your favourite bands is mediocre" without asking why one may like them is good discourse. For example I watched Infinity War and didn't like it, but some of my friends absolutely loved it. I don't think it'd be helpful for me to tell them that I thought it wasn't great, but if I did I'd at least ask them what they liked about it.
