I was too giddy tonight talking to my fiance who is working without pay during the shutdown. Who after saying "I think Pelosi is the female devil." he said he wasn't for either side.

I laughed in his face on skype. Just a little giggle that slipped out. I couldn't help it. I told him he's so pissed off about her because she's good. Said she was cutthroat, asked him if that would be a bad quality in a man.

Then he started going on about various free speech and protected groups and at one point used the phrase "rainbow people." I started giggling, shaking my head, couldn't stop. I told him I loved him. I showed him significant cleavage. I kept trying to change the subject, but he kept putting the blame for the shutdown where it does not belong.

He is a good man, good to his family and friends, great job for past 3 decades, skilled, kind, generous, adventurous, playful, served his country, loves his momma, takes good care of me and kids that aren't even his loves me with all his heart-plus we're old and we have a chemistry that is unfreaking matched. But oh God I get so much less horny when we talk politics.
