And what did Rian set up? Please, do tell me what Film 3 should have included because you guys never actually explain what the third film should have included. The fact that we're even having this conversation is sad. No-one should have watched that scene and thought "OMG FILM THREE IS GOING TO BE REVOLUTIONARY." The scene either raised people's expectations insanely high or shattered them. AND THAT is why I like TROS. Because I just wanted to see what was going to happen. No fan theories, no early drawn conclusions.
