Yea I feel the other commenters are assuming that she's a super close friend, but she isn't, she's just a friend.

A few of my friends I've talked to told me she may like me more than a friend, because being this insistent on trying to hang out is weird to them as well. She always tells me how much she misses me despite us only hanging out once is probably the biggest flag.

She has other friends and since she's way more popular than me, parties/goes out way more than me so I feel weird why she's so fixated on hanging out with me. I always try to steer our conversation on getting to know each other more but then the conversation just goes back to "I want to hang out with you".
