Friendly Friday Thread

I'm trying to get ahead of my garden plan for next year, and I really, really want to grow some pumpkins. I have a small yard, and the following preferences:

  1. High yield of multiple fruits with tasty, edible pumpkin flesh

  2. Disease/pest resistance (powdery mildew, squash vine borers)

  3. Small vines/bush (I can trellis if this can't happen)

  4. Aesthetic looking, dark orange fruit (Musquee de Provence is my favorite looking one)

So far I'm thinking Cinderella pumpkins, Sorcerer pumpkins or Racer Plus.

Has anyone tried one of these varieties, or have a variety they grew and really liked? Also, general growing pumpkins discussion
