A friendly reminder

So to help you understand, I actually made a post in here about whether or not you should memorize protocols or “understand” them.

The example I gave for understanding a protocol was anaphylaxis. You use protocols like a cookbook, and when cooking on your own you know what’s important and what’s not - will you still get pancakes if you forget the blueberries? Sure, fine.

In any case, there’s all kinds of shit you can give to someone having anaphylaxis, but if you only remember one thing when treating someone with it… it’s the epi. You will have not made much out of your cookbook if you only give them a neb.

That’s all OP is saying.
