This time of year's my bday! Yesterday actually. I'm so pumped too, I checked my xbox wishlist and observer, perception and some other horror games I've been following are on like a 75% off sale right now so Momma's about to go treat thyself to some badass horror games!
My bday Yesterday was Bittersweet. I thought everything was going to go fine because my cuckoo mom has been in the psych ward 2 hours away for the last week but all of a sudden mid afternoon before Darren gets home I got a phone call from a random cell phone number that my mother was let out of the hospital, got into like a van shuttle ride that they were giving her for a 2-hour ride home, and she had somehow managed to get herself kicked off of the damn van and she was stranded in the middle of Boston who-knows-where. She couldn't even tell me like what town she was in her anything and she wanted me to make Darren go drive 2 hours or more to some place in Boston that we are unaware of to go pick her ass up! Like it was the hospital's responsibility to bring her home they said that they were going to take care of Transportation so it blew my mind that she was making it someone else's responsibility, namely ours. The rest of my family are frantic trying to figure out how to help my mom and making it my problem even more so. No one thought to even try to contact the hospital she was released from to see if they had like heard from her because after we got the initial communication from this random person cell phone no one can get ahold of her. So she was basically like a missing person for a few hours. But I did speak to my mom I told her to call 911 or the police and explain what's happening and they can help her contact the hospital that she was released from to get transportation. This is what she ended up doing anyways but it was like all Wicked stressful and it's totally ruined my freaking birthday for sure.
My narcissistic mother decided to take it out on Darren and I for not rescuing her from her problems and acting like we are horrible people for not driving like a four-hour round-trip with our 7 year old in tow on my birthday to some random ass place in Boston to find her and drive her home.
Like if you are saying enough to be released from the psych ward and you somehow fuck up your free ride home then it is your responsibility to get your ass home somehow, not your children. Not some random strangers at a McDonalds. If you're going to act belligerent enough to get kicked off of a bus then I think that's your problem and you brought it upon yourself LOL. Like it's really hard to find up the fine line between setting boundaries and being heartless when it comes to my mom and her bullshit about the conversation was just ridiculous but I think I freaked Chloe out by screaming to my mom on the phone because I just had had it at that point.
Hopefully today will be a good day though. I got a ton of games play now, I didn't even realize Mark Z danielewski released a full episode script of his house of leaves pilot so I can still finish reading that, and the Girl Scouts has there like end of year Cook-Out which will be nice. I just hope it stops raining so we can build a fire for s'mores!
